I live in the United States but I have been to Restaurant Adler for a few times so far. It is one of my resturants to dine and everytime I can afford to go (I am an University Student) it is an extraordinary experience. It...is really!!!! money worth spend. I usually eat very international, but when I am going to Restaurant Adler I am in for a treat for fresh local and traditional food. This really makes me proud of my German heritage. Each meal fits so perfectly together and the Service is charming and as professional as it gets when it comes to a Michelin Star Restaurant. If you are looking for exquisite local , nothing to experimental, just high in quality food, than this is the restaurant for your HIGH-CLASS DINING EXPERIENCE.
Our business lunch was excellent at reasonable prices. I had a very good Rueda white wine. 0.2 dl for 7.00 Euro, ok for this excellent wine. Caretaking service, nice atmosphere. This is the legere Bistro of this excellent hotel. Open from Mo- Fri 11:30-14:30 and...from 17:30. Saturdays closed. on Sundays starting from 17:30. more info: [hidden link].
Exquisite dinner, perfect service The Espresso at the end of the evening was lousy, but the rest was perfect. But let’s start with the beginning: the amuse bouche, an elegant, tiny appetizer consisting of turnip mousse, graved salmon and red caviar was delicious and artistically displayed on a tiny little plate. The various soups fish soup and Hochzeitssuppe that were served as first course in the traditionally furnished and very cozy restaurant area were excellent. The entrees with relatively large portions of meat (for German standards, at least , for instance the veal ragout, the magret de canard or the porc and beef loins (the latter generously covered with fried onions were cooked to our entire satisfaction. The only miner were the vegetable sides, the Brussel sprouts and the steamed Savoy cabbage were marginal, the pumpkin slice was practically tasteless. Needless to say that the tables in the Hotel Adler are covered with snow white table clothes and that the food is served on fine bone china. A very professional sommelier serves wines from the wine list by the glass without the obligation to order the entire bottle. The service in general is extremely attentive, when it comes to refills, clearing the table and lifting the silver hoods from the plates or politely helping the clients into their coats. The desserts, variations of fruit sherbets for us that evening were of aromatic, fruity and intense taste. It’s nice to have such a classy restaurant in the area!
We were staying at the adjacent hotel and ate here with our niece's family who live in Stuttgart. Seven us all together. Clean and bright. Service was outstanding. Food was even better. We ate a wide assortment of main dishes: fish, salads, chicken corden bleu,...dumplings. Everything was quite good. Desserts were also quite good. All in all, a fantastic dining experience that let us visit and not seemed rushed, but still provided timely service.
