Excellent food and perfect ambiance for a Special Occassion dinner!!

This place is fantastic. The food is excellent and the service is impeccable. Please make it a point to dinate here because you will not regret.

They have been in Bartolino many times over the years and as always the food is consistently delicious, the menu and the wine list extensive, and the service excellent.

We arrived in time for our reservation 8:30 and was told it would be about 10 minutes. There was a bar and we had a drink. The host was very nice. He came to the bar and said about 10 minutes more we said okay. 1 hour later we haven't sat yet. Finally we went to the dining room and passed on a table. The host was not very nice anymore. He ignored us the rest of the evening. Someone sat and we immediately got water and bread. Then we waited a while for a server to take our order. He served us in a reasonable time, and the food was hot and good. Then the LOUD started playing music and we couldn't talk to each other through the rest of our meal When we were finished eating and coffee were served, they told us that our table was reserved for the private party and could we go. I almost lost it at this point. I've been to this restaurant before and really enjoyed it. I also understand in a busy night that things don't always go to plan Bartolinos doesn't have to overbook if they can't take all in a timely way. I will not return to this restaurant. I think customer loss is one to many.
