Dan's Grub Shack - Atascadero

Nice service and really good food. Dan adds flare to the food that really makes the difference. Atmosphere is really beautiful and gentle. Many parking spaces. The first time here and we will come back soon, very impressed. Great job!

We have here for lunch on the way to Santa Barbara because of all great reviews. My husband and I shared the Macaroni Bacon Cheeseburger and Brisket Cheesy Fries and they were both amazing! Dan knew that we shared and served our sandwich halves in separate baskets very nicely. Will definitely be back when we're back in the area.

Very unique and delicious menu items. The fritesy brisket were wonderful. The Hamburgers were good too.

This week after unloading and a workout for lunch. Definitely the place to eat when you are looking for a decent size meal. Nothing on the menu is small! We went with the Danimal Burger and Pastrami Sandwich. The Danimal comes with Jalapeños who are actually sharp when you are looking for something hot. We appreciate that because jalapeño can be met or miss. The tri tip was also good, had to pack half of it to go. Service was top notch. The servers are friendly and the owner is great! Good convo and food are here in the menu.

Amazing food and great customer service. The owner is so nice and welcoming. I live in Long Beach but I would definitely make the drive to eat here again. I got the Cheesy Brisket Fries and they were the best fries I’ve ever had.
