Feedback gevenHooked on the tri tip sandwich here. Always cooked for perfection. You do not use quality meat on a BBQ pit with Red Oak shortcuts! I'm so local, it's easy, but if I went through the 101, I would definitely make this place a late lunch or dinner!
Hands down the best pulled pig I ever had. Very good and the prices are very reasonable. There are very few restaurants in the county SLO that make food to this quality independent of the price.
OMG! Since I've tried to start a bite and then a taste of something else and now I think of it every day. I've been with me a few times, now everything I tried is better than the last. This is the funny part, I really don't like bbq at all, but the difference with this place is that they don't soak the food in bbq sauce. Mac and cheese another of my least favorite food, but nevertheless I must have it. I'm cursed by the day I was introduced to these guys that they've become my lot to put their hands down is the best. It's pretty hard to find first, but once you do, don't forget it. The people who work there are all very friendly I feel like a part of the family al ready, ha soon enough my friends soon enough. I say with all my heart that you have to try it out or live in the dark, which is not about a good thing that is about a big bbq.
Scotty's is easy to miss if you're just driving by but it is definitely a great place to check out. The BBQ is excellent and they have the best coleslaw I have had in a long time.
Best bbq in SLO county. Everything hand made. Can call orders ahead of time. Will run out of ribs or tritip on weekends, Tuesdays and Fridays. Along with pork ribs. Call ahead to order or availability. Or you will be skunked. Also, if your meat is tough. Don't microwave it after you take it home.
