Clarke's Standard - Athens

Honestly one of the worst eating experiences I have ever had. It was a Saturday so it was busy for game day but our food took over an hour to come out. When the food finally came the burger was burnt and the chili was extremely cold. There was also two hairs found in the food which made it very unappetizing but as we were starving after our hour wait we ate it and even in our hunger it just wasn’t good. I do not recommend.

I really enjoyed my first visit to Clarke's Standard after a friend's recommendation. My friend and I shared the smashed potatoes, which were delicious. I also appreciated that they offered a meat alternative with the black bean burger since I don't eat beef. The service was excellent as well. I will definitely be back!

This is a lively and dependable college bar and restaurant! It's a fantastic spot for Parents' Weekend or any occasion. I absolutely love the burgers, and the drinks are always excellent. The friendly college students make for the best servers and bar staff. I can't wait for our next visit!

The staff is super friendly and helpful. I ordered the bbq burger with fritten and it was very beautiful presented. in terms of taste, the Burger-Patty itself needed a bit more seasonal, but overall I enjoyed my meal.

The food was great. The portions were small (for the price), but I expected that. The decor is really neat /clean. My server was great, but the guy behind the bar was kind of a douche. He was loudly talking about his drunk experiences the prior night, it was pretty unprofessional. I'm not sure if it was made better or worse by my table being the only table of customers.
