Really have to congratulate the Mgt team at The Bounty for the incredible safe environment they have created during these difficult times always a great eatery ; great pint ; and a top sports bar with the Buccaneers rugby club proudly showcased. But the added care for staff and customer safety shows the real character of this excellent venue and it’s Mgt team who take pride in doing things right. Hats off to you all. Joe Browne and Family

Perfect spot for a dinner with the family, not too fancy, with quick service and very good food. Fairly informal too, with easy access to delicious cider!

We were travelling to Athlone to watch Banbridge RFC V Buccaneers, so I had emailed the restaurant to ask for menus and reserve a table for 6 people. Tom the manager was very helpful and responsive to my emails. The restaurant itself was lovely and the staff were friendly. For lunch we had filled wraps and ciabatta's with chips and a roast beef dinner. The food was very tasty and staff were attentive, asking if we required any more chips etc (which we didn't as there was plenty) it was also very reasonably priced. After the game we returned and enjoyed the craic in the restaurant /bar and watched The Grand National on a big screen. I would definitely recommend The Bounty Bar and Restaurant for food and drinks. Excellent food and very friendly staff. Good long chat with owner who was very accommodating. The pineapple boat was to die for!!!!
