We decided to go to robs ranch house as we’ve been before and the poor was great. I always would order the carbonara dish with garlic bread. This time we were greeted by friendly staff and brought to out seats and given menus i then noticed no pasta dishes so must have been removed this was a real let down. We got onion rings and wings for starters which were lovely but it went down hill after that. I ordered a mexian chicken ciabatta, when it arrived it was presented well, I took the top off the ciabatta to see that the whole sandwich consisted of a Mexican type sauce which wasn’t even that great and it was full of vegetables, which is fine but I would expect it to be full of chicken also as it is called a chicken sandwich. I counted 4 medium pieces of chicken that’s all that was in the sandwich extremely poor. My partner got a steak sandwich which again was presented lovely but inside there was a mustard sauce with steak I just don’t think it goes very well together and the sandwich itself was basic enough. We were so so disappointed with the quality of the food and it has lead us to not want to go back to robs ranch because of this. The price you pay for a starter and a main for 2 absolutely does not match the quality of the food I was annoyed at the price we paid when we were leaving as the food was maybe a 4/10, if your paying prices they have I expect to enjoy my food and be satisfied this time I just wasn’t. Later that evening the food was just sitting in my stomach I could feel the grease and I began to feel extremely sick which then led to me vomiting for the night. That topped my experience off so I definitely wouldn’t be eating there again. Staff were lovely and the place itself is lovely and the atmosphere is good it’s just the food for me.

Starter was lovely wings were very nice onion rings good big chunky nice size taste great. We each got a main I got steak sandwich thought the sauce didn’t go well at all on the sandwich mustard kind of not great steak pieces were plenty which was good only thing was very dry the ciabatta wasn’t toasted at all just seared to leave the toast marks on the ciabatta. My partner had the Mexican sandwich bulked up the ciabatta with mostly veg to make it look big only 4 pieces of chicken in the sand which small in size on the ciabatta and same the ciabatta not toasted just seared to leave the marks on the top.enviro and stuff very good nice clean setup for the price you pay you’d expect a higher example of food the Mexican sauce on the ciabatta nice but you could make it the same from a Mexican wrap set it tescos very disappointing as the environment should reflect the food! Lovely place just food quality needs ti be addressed.
