You can see one end of the restaurant from the intersection of Peachtree and Piedmont streets, but the actual entrance and valet service are situated at the back. Like many places in Buckhead, finding parking can be a hassle. If you're not keen on valet, I recommend taking MARTA and spending the day exploring the area. Personally, I tend to avoid Buckhead these days due to the parking difficulties; I just don't have the patience for it, especially with so many excellent dining options available elsewhere.
I absolutely love this restaurant! While we thoroughly enjoy the Brazilian steakhouse experience, happy hour at the bar is just as delightful. Matt is an excellent bartender, and we really enjoy the bacon-wrapped filet sliders!
Great place for a company dinner or a date night. It took us a second to figure out how things work here. It's a fix price menu where they bring out all the food and stop by when you place your card green side up vs the red side. There is a bit of a language barrier. I see why everyone told me that the steaks were second to none. I also enjoyed the bananas.
The service was outstanding and incredibly attentive. The food was fantastic, with perfectly balanced seasonings that enhanced the natural flavors of the meat. The salad bar offered a variety of fresh and well-prepared ingredients. The experience would have been even better if we had had room for dessert. Overall, everything was excellently done, and I can't wait to go back!
We have eaten at other Brazilian Streak houses before but they pale in comparison. The experience at Chama Gaucha was a symphony of food from the beginning to end.We were greeted , welcomed then escorted to our table and then the fun began. The salad bar was fresh and had good basic choices the shrimp cocktail was goodThe traditional Brazilian drink tasted similar to a margarita) was good. Then came the meats. The waiter was correct when he said to pace ourselves that if we did not be careful we would get overwhelmed. The filet wrapped in bacon was so tender and just mouth watering. The sirloin, shrimp, chicken and lamb were all top notch. The fried bananas and plantain were a great experience as well. The whole staff were very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend Chama when you are in the mood for a variety of succulent meat served by an excellent staff. The bill was $118 for the two of us.So not an everyday meal but well worth the experience.
