Grand China - Atlanta

Arrived for a 11 pm reservation only to get there and rudely being told we're closed, when I tried to explained we made reservation the door was slammed in my face. I also just looked and they still have 11 pm reservations available smh

Staff is super friendly and super efficient. Food is very good and quite authentic. We had the duck and the stuffed eggplant with shrimp which were delicious. We will be back for more in the future.

Went there with my kids and husband on a Sunday evening to try something new. We were seated in the sun room which was fine, however the table was in the corner where one of the chairs had zero room because there was a vent pipe sticking out. Inside was not that crowded but took the waiter a good 20 minutes to come over. Food came out at a good pace except for to cocktails. Sushi was fine, apps were fine, dinners were awful and there was hair not once but twice in our food. It was not our own either. They did take the meal off the check which was nice of them to do but we will not be going back. The atmosphere restaurant was very loud and echos. The first people behind us were very loud and obnoxious and was yelling curse words. It is not the restaurants fault, however the narrow room itself lent to being loud and it was annoying. However the second people behind us were talking to the owner when she delivered their drinks. The owner says out loud to one of the customers at that table “so were you a virgin when you met him?”. I have two minors with me and whether or not she knew the customers well or not, that was completely inappropriate not only for minors to hear but other customers as well. The whole experience was very disappointing and we will never go back.

Definitely worth the money. I had the sweet and sour fried red snapper and it was amazing. I would definitely recommend if you want a great meal at an affordable price. Their sweet tea is even banging. And the service friendly and even better.

This was a very satisfying meal. My wife was impressed by the generous portions of the plum wine. The three of us celebrated the Lunar New Year with the special fixed prices menu the garlic and ginger scallops was the clear winner, but al 3 seafood dishes were very good. Good food, reasonable prices, hospitable owner (she came to wish us Happy Lunar New Year).
