Crispy duck skin is why I ordered it.The short rib was delicious, but the portion was too small even for my petite 110lb wife. The Pavlova dessert was disappointing, as the center was dry and crusty throughout like a meringue. Was expecting it to be soft marshmallowy inside. I think it was topped with a berry compote. That was good. The host asked about dietary restrictions, which is thoughtful. Our server was pleasant and attentive. Loved the decor. Spent a lot of time admiring the wallpaper upstairs. There was a young lady celebrating a a birthday next to us and when prompted by her partner, we and the other diners all joined in to sing Happy Birthday. So everyone was having a good time and the atmosphere is not too stuffy.Price was fine. Not a great value, not ridiculously overpriced.I would not push back if someone suggested we go there for dinner but I might not recommend it myself unless we were already in the area.
We celebrated our 22nd anniversary at Le Bon Nosh, and we had an amazing experience! The food was wonderful, and the service was outstanding. Our server made sure it was a night to remember! I would definitely go back!
Nice ambience, but suuuper expensive and suuuper small portions. I wanted to like it…but I won’t be going back.
Third time dining for dinner 3 for 3! Fabulous food and killer wine list. Very nice experience.
This review is in reference to the cooking class experience that they offer. I wish someone gave me a heads up as to what it exactly entails as the title and description is very misleading. It's not a cooking class. It's a cooking demonstration. You won't be making your meal or making a dish that you will eat. You will get to play with some dough, watch the owner and chef do the work and talk you through it, and eat a meal at the end that you did not make... For the price they charge for the cooking class, it's not worth it. I wish someone would have warned me what the event REALLY was about, and they could have provided a better description of what the event really is because I was ready to actually cook and get my hands dirty! I love the restaurant and the food but the cooking class was not it, unfortunately.
