I ordered the gumbo,pork chops for my entrée which were too pricey to only come with one side and a Peachy Sangria. The drink was terrible, I had to request for some more peach liqueur to make it taste better. The gumbo was good..The first round of chops were raw on the inside, I was asked if I wanted a new set of chops or to put those back on the grill. I definitely wanted newchops? so I cut into the second set of pork chops and it appeared to be done and had great flavor until I got to the corner and AGAIN not cooked! I sent it back and didn?t pay. So I left there still hungry and still spent $20 for a cup ofgumbo, a terrible drink and a small tip to the waiter. I did receive an apology from the manager but I don?t think I will be returning..the food and drive is not worth it to me.
I returned half of my 12 wings yesterday in my first visit to your restaurant in an international group of pilots visiting the place. The reason: undercooked (you could see the red blood). I kindly requested the server to take them out and pointed her the reason, I didn?t expect her to argue with me the criteria of what an undercooked wing is? i just told her: ?it?s fine, no problem?. The underlying cause for her to start arguing may be based on your policy about returnedfood. There were no aditional comment from the server nor any action on the management side, in my opinion it?s a poor customer oriented place. The server was not rude at any time but basic in all aspects of hospitality treatment. The placehas a nice atmosphere, no loud music (a plus) and you can have a group conversation comfortably seated. 3 stars.
The restaurant is large and very nice. It has 2nd floor indoor and outdoor seating. We arrived after 8pm so no wait but it had just ended. The food is good, nothing to write home about. The appetizer (fried green tomatoes) was very good. The hostess (Ben) sat us immediately. The server (Jalissa) took too long to come to table. It was close to 10 minutes. Ben had to inform her. That wasn?t a good start. She was friendly but always took too long to return. We had towait even after finishing food for her to return so we could pay. I wasn?t too impressed with restaurant for the cost. My friend said ribs were season good but not tender. Another had blackened chicken pasta which she stated was just?good?. I had blackened salmon salad and it tasted pretty good. The serving sizes were sufficient. I ordered a sangria but sent back because it didn?t taste good, at all. My friend ordered a strawberry margarita and said it was okay. Thinkthey need a better bar tender. I do not have the desire to return but can?t say it was bad either. Food just not tasty enough and service was below normal.
Had an amazing dinner! Staff was excellent! The food really is amazing! I couldn't even taste the mold inthe HVAC. 10/10 will eat here again...HOPEFULLY after they've serviced their air system.
This place was exactly what I needed after a long day. Long Island tea, caesar salad, grilled salmon and carrot cake (I had no idea that such a piece of treat existed). The staff was very friendly and the food was on site. Everything was clean with lots of natural light. Definitely recommend.
