I wouldn't recommend this restaurant for someone trying Indian food for the first time. The waiter wasn't very helpful with suggestions for those unfamiliar with Indian cuisine.

The food was delicious. I really appreciated our server's patience in explaining the menu and making recommendations.

The food is consistently fantastic, but during our visit, they were preparing to relocate, so there was no alcohol menu available. However, the service was excellent as usual—very friendly and eager to assist, though they did seem a bit puzzled by my OpenTable reservation.

Wait staff person was too sarcastic as we were dining, which made to experience not good. Food was great, but staff a not good. May prevent from returning...

The decor is very basic, but clean and quiet. The menu is broad with many good choices of Indian food. Service is excellent and the prices very modest. Do not park in the overpriced Little Five Points lot next to the restaurant. Side street parking a block north is generally available and free.
