Feedback gevenI had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. The customer service was lacking, and the staff had a negative attitude. When I requested that an employee change her gloves after she had touched the oven, meats, perishables, vegetables, and a receipt while attempting to process another online order, she rolled her eyes at me. Overall, it was a frustrating visit.
The owner and staff seemed more focused on chatting with each other than paying attention to my order while preparing my food. I was in a hurry, and unfortunately, she added way too much sauce to my sandwich, making it impossible for me to eat.
In contrast, I noticed how the same staff member treated white customers with much more kindness and attentiveness. One instance stood out to me: when a Black man entered, she abruptly told him he couldn't dine in, while she welcomed a white patron with a smile. This blatant difference in treatment was both frustrating and sad to witness. I tried to order two cookies but faced more unpleasantness when I requested some with fewer chocolate chips. The staff member insisted they were all the same, despite evidence to the contrary. I stood my ground and informed her that I wouldn't accept such disrespect. I told her I was just one of several Black customers she had treated unkindly that day and decided to walk out, choosing not to spend my money there any longer. As a college-educated American, I refuse to be disrespected by anyone, especially in my own country. If people of color collectively stopped supporting establishments that exhibit this kind of behavior, perhaps they would reconsider how they treat their customers. This behavior needs to end, and I find the owner’s actions truly disappointing.
I was in a bus transfer from here to Orlando, so I stopped by Subway for some food for for the road. The hound lady that helped me was quick, which I appreciated. However I did not appreciate her attitude. I have a speech impediment which doesn?t allow me to speak loudly but she kept on rolling her eyes and telling me to ?speak up I can?t hear you dude? they also did not have the cookies I wanted, which was a bummer. Unfortunately I will not leave more than 2 stars for my experience
After my workouts at LA Fitness, I like to grab a sub on my way back to work. I consistently place my orders through the Subway app, and I've never had any issues. My food is always ready for me as soon as I walk in. The staff is friendly, and the food tastes great. What more could you ask for?
