Surin Of Thailand - Atlanta

The service was incredibly disappointing! We waited over 40 minutes for our meals. When we approached the male manager about the delay, he dismissively suggested that if we were looking for fast service, we should go to the buffet. Both we and the two ladies at the neighboring table were taken aback by his attitude. The soup was only warm, not hot, and the Pad Thai was excessively salty. This used to be one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Atlanta, and I'm not sure what's happening now.

This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it certainly won’t be my last! We started with the Coconut Shrimp Soup, which was absolutely one of the best I’ve ever tasted. For my main course, I ordered Pork Pad Thai, and it was so delicious that I got another one to take home. My son and his wife tried two different dishes—one was a vegetable dish with flat noodles, and the other was a spicy steak. I really appreciated the use of fresh basil, cilantro, ginger, and lemongrass in all the dishes. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

I ordered through Uber Eats and found the food to be overpriced for the quality. It lacked flavor and was quite bland. To make matters worse, they charged $2 for a side of peanut sauce, which turned out to be just a half-full one-ounce plastic container (as shown in the picture before anyone touched it).

Part of the Surin of Thailand family with multiple locations in Atlanta and Birmingham. Reliably good food, especially the Spicy Beef Salad and Pad See U/Ew!

Great overall experience. Food was delicious, you need to try the coconut soup and the massaman curry, they were great. Service was quick and fine, not great but not rude either. Ordered a Mojito and it was OK, nothing to be impressed about and a bitoverpriced for what it was, but did the work. Will definitely repeat.
