The restaurant is clean and the food is good but nowhere near what they charge. Two small slices of schnitzel for $35? Even midtown NY is a lot cheaper. In addition the have a mandatory tip of 18%. Not unusual, however don’t calculate the 18% on the tax part. OK place but way overpriced!!!!!
The Restaurant for the most part is typical nothing fancy but the prices are mind blowing all the entree's are minimum of $29 dollars and if you share them with anyone it is an extra $10 dollars if they don't get an entree. Being how its pretty much the only kosher restaurant within 15 min or so where else you going to go? Food was pretty decent though. and there happened to be a blizzard outside. i will only go back if i do well in the casino's
Food is fine. Average I'd say. But the menu was tiny, not a lot of options, and the portions were about average size. But here's the kicker. The food was incredibly overpriced. I got the schwarma, which did taste fine, but it cost me 37$! They also messed up on my payment, and refused to fix it. This could be expected from some shady takeout store, but this was the most expensive restaurant I've ever been to. I kind of expected slightly more professionalism. It's obvious that there are no other kosher stores around so they're able to get away with this, but it's really not okay. Very dissatisfied and would not recommend to a friend.
It's a spacious restaurant, old furniture. There's only few choices on the menu. The cheapest main dish is $30. I got french fries and rice with the shawarma. It tastes dry and pretty much no taste. The restaurant doesn't make any effort to serve food close to that price. Go next door and pay a reasonable price.
