Neapolitan style, the dough feels light and they offer lots of innovative mixes and the option of customizing your pizza by selecting a dough if your choice. Highly recommend the one with cheese, caramelised onions and orange marmalade and the one with beef carpaccio, pistacho, burrata and fiordilatte. Very good price-quality relation and very fast service too.
I found Castellum Vetus Vinaria by pure coincidence since I love to cycle through the county of Teramo including Casoli, which belongs to the city of Atri. What a find! Turns out that the owner and pizzaiolo Simone Pomante just won 3rd place in the World Pizza Contest in Rimini (Emilia Romagna, Italy early 2015. However not only his pizzas are excellent and very creatively composed, but also the home made pasta or the antipasti are a dream! We had home made ravioli with a ricotta filling and fresh tomato sauce. The serving for two had been plenty so that we were only able to share a pizza together: Borgo Nuovo with bacon, Gorgonzola cheese, tartufo, mozzarella and a sunny side up egg in the middle. Delicious!! Last time we had the pizza Simone won his 3rd place with: Pizza Del Casale Patate with potato, pecorino cheese from Farindola (Abruzzo , sausage and scamorza (air dried mozzarella cheese . To die for... : Simone, his mother and his staff are very courteous and it is a pleasure to visit them every time!

Returned a year away for many times and on one of the two occasions we had dinner outside the structure. the place is absolutely cared for in detail and we were really very well. service compared to last year is much improved; was absolutely fast and professional. in a few excellent words. the stuffed pancakes and fried cheese absolutely excellent; the very good gourmet pizzas..I did not appreciate the green pesto in the duke the sweets are absolutely to improve; cheesecakes were moose. I recommend
I write this review after several times that I have tried this place. After all the different pizzas tried, I can say that it is simply perfect. pizza, on the contrary, good pizzas. One more good than the other. refined gouits and raw materials of very first quality. friendly and court staff and pizza maker simply unique: Very kind. in my opinion the best pizza ever. you don't get fooled by the position, a little out of hand. absolutely recommended
