Feedback gevenWe had two great lunches at Taverna Rock on different days in June. Giulio was very attentive and entertaining- he made us feel like family. He had travel suggestions for us that we actually followed and were very helpful about leaving the car in the outside garage before boarding for Ischia). We will definitely come back. We arrived in this town during siesta time and a local told us that we could get food in Taverna Rock. The owner was very hospitable and even took us to the Feudi vineyards and recommended that we have our dinner at the Michelin starred restaurant at the vineyard. Food at Taverna Rock turned out to be amazing. Very local and I love the oriecchette with spinach.
Taverna Rock was recommended by a local in the area. We were there for lunch and the owner was on hand to help us with the orders. The food was delicious and one of the best we tasted this trip. We had pasta and the grilled meat. On a separate note, the owner was very friendly. We wanted to check out some wine yards in the area. He called them to check if they are open or otherwise. He even drove us to one of them.
The place is romantic and beautifull, but we ate on a tuesday and were the only ones there. The service was nice and nonintrusive, and very quick. The pizzas came in about teo minutes, and were fluffy, big, and perfectly cooked by naple-standard. It tasted very close to Sorbillos, actually. Recommended dearly.
