Tom's Family - Attica

This is a terrible place to work, and it's also unsafe to eat there. There is a lot of cross-contamination; I saw staff handling raw chicken with one hand, putting it on the grill, and then using that same hand to pick up and serve your food. The kitchen is absolutely disgusting. Raw meat and vegetables are stored together. At one point, the coolers were in such bad shape that the food was rotting, and there was rust everywhere. Rusty water was dripping onto the food.

We visit this restaurant every week because the food is fantastic, and the waitstaff seem to know most of their regular customers. I've been coming here for about 10 years, and if we weren't outside, I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else. Several family members are particularly fond of their fish fries!

We used to dine at Tom's, and the experience is consistently fantastic. The food is delicious, the portions are generous, and the prices are very reasonable. I’m not sure how they manage to offer such great value for what they charge. As a big eater, I often find myself unable to finish my meal. I always look forward to our next visit. The quality of the food is comparable to what you would expect at a more upscale restaurant.
