The chicken rice bowl I got was huge, stuffed with better produce than I get at the grocery store lately, and generously drizzled with a garlic tahini sauce that defies description. I can also recommend the shawarma and stuffed grape leaves. The worker (owner? was incredibly patient and friendly. I will definitely be stopping here to pick up dinner again.Vegetarian options: Falafel available
I rate this to save others from seeing 4.9 stars and thinking green light. I do not understand the reviews of this restaurant. Everything I tasted in the trio platter was mediocre at best but the falafel was straight up bad and the disgusting baba ganoush seemed to simply be 50% mashed roasted eggplant and 50% olive oil with no seasoning.Update: my girlfriend threw up her food
Very good Greek food . They give you a lot for your money . Totally worth the money!
The first time I had Cedar’s was through a delivery service in October; decided on the Triple Play to try a bit of everything. When I took the first bite, I knew it was the real deal. The gyro meat was obviously fresh off a spit (something impossible to find these days), the chicken was deliciously marinated, and the falafel was light and fluffy. Every single item was perfectly balanced and seasoned to perfection—not too salty with the right amount of acid. All the sauces/dips were clearly homemade. I thought about calling the kitchen just to say thank you for a truly delicious meal, but decided I needed to chill and not bother them!I visited Cedar’s again this week in person, hoping I didn’t just hit them on a good night the first time. Everything was exactly the same as before and I couldn’t be more pleased. Thank you times infinity for delicious, consistent Mediterranean done right!
Great food--fast and fresh! I've gotten takeout and delivery from this gem inside the gas station over the last few years and have never been disappointed. My go-to items are the chicken plate (marinated, cubed chicken over a HUGE portion of yummy rice with a side salad and sauces), falafel and anything I can use their fabulous garlic sauce on (you can buy a decent sized tub for a few bucks). The gyro fries are great, too.I'm personally not a big fan of the gyro meat but that is completely my own preference as I don't love lamb and I believe it's a beef and lamb combination. It's seasoned very well, I just don't like the meat itself, but if you like lamb you will probably love it. If you have it on the gyro fries, it kind of cuts that flavor and is still really good (not gonna deduct any stars for personal preference). It might seem a bit expensive, but I think it's appropriate for the quality and convenience. If you're hungry and are in the area for the car wash, I highly recommend giving it a try!
