One would not generally think of a rural convenience store having the best chicken tenders in the country, but trust me, it is the truth. It has a large variety of stock and the management and staff are exceptional. It is hard to pass and not stop in for something. Joe the manager is the heart of the business and a great guy. Be prepared to stand in line for a few minutes to check out because they are almost always busy. They are busy for a reason. It is a great place to meet our needs and they make us feel like family.
Great!! Like most small town businesses they are service focused to the community and charge reasonable prices for what it takes to provide those services. Excellent staff and leadership providing those great services.
The food lacks flavor and requires sauce just to have some semblance of taste. On the bright side, it’s affordable.
This is the best little chicken spot we could have ever hoped for! I'm from Alabama, and this is the first place I've encountered hush puppies in Colorado. They absolutely nailed it! The chicken is incredibly crispy and crunchy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside. Plus, it was seasoned just right! I highly recommend Champs Chicken!
The restaurant seems to have inconsistent hours. I arrived at 8:30 PM, and although their posted hours indicate they close at 9, they were already closed up and had nothing left. It was clear they had stopped serving well before that time. This isn't the first time I've experienced this; I've also come by at 7 and 8 PM without success. So if you're in the mood for chicken, it might be a gamble as to whether they'll actually be open.
