Tap Vine At The White House - Auburn

Tap and Vine is a casually elegant, or elegantly casual, dining experience in Auburn, California. Just off I-80 and across from the historic courthouse, there's indoor, outdoor, and downstairs bar dining; something for everyone.As the weather was perfect we opted for the streetside patio.The menu is well balanced, with a range of appetizers and entrees to suit anyone.We particularly noticed the rich and flavorful seasonings that are NOT salt centered!The three of us traded bits of the house burger, the beef short rib, and the halibut, and still had some to take home for snacks.New to the Auburn dining scene, we will definitely return to try the duck confit, the big kid cheese sandwich and soup, and the beet salad.

Went for a wedding reception buffet in the courtyard. Beautifully decorated. Food was great. The wedding couple kept it very simple (no dancing, etc) but the staff was fun and very attentive. I highly recommend Tap Vine for your party. I have no knowledge of the normal operation or food but must assume it's great.Food: 5/5

This was nice, in the cute town of Auburn, CA. Atmosphere was lovely, grounds and house were beautiful. Servers were likely too busy, guessing understaffed, and so they were not overly friendly and a bit slow. Hard to critique them too poorly they were average, not exceptional. The lemon drop and house chardonnay were excellent.Service: 3/5
