Rangoli Indian Cuisine - Auburn Hills

If I had to sum up this restaurant in one word, it would be "exquisite"! The service was exceptional— the staff is hardworking, quick, and very attentive to their guests' needs. The atmosphere was beautifully relaxing, and the decor truly set the tone. The food was beyond delicious; I ordered the Rangoli Special Appetizer Platter, Tandoori Lamb Chops, Butter Chicken, Coconut Lamb, and some Chai Tea. Every bite made my heart sing, and I can't wait to return for more. I used to pick up DoorDash orders from this place quite often, and each time I was greeted by the enticing aroma of mouthwatering dishes and polite staff. I promised my grandmother that we would go for dinner one day, and we did! She absolutely loves the butter chicken and garlic naan.

I am really excited to see an Indian lunch buffet back after the pandemic! The food is fantastic. We went on Saturday, October 15, 2022, because when I called other Indian restaurants nearby, none of them were offering lunch buffets anymore. I also appreciated that this buffet was available on a weekend, as some used to only be offered on weekdays.

My experiences at this restaurant have consistently been disappointing. My husband ordered takeout (Chinese chicken fried rice) and it was so poorly made that we had to throw it all away due to its awful taste. A few months later, we decided to give it another try and dine in, hoping for a better experience. We ordered butter chicken, soup, and garlic naan, but once again, the food was subpar. We ended up leaving most of it uneaten and paid a $42 bill for nothing. The service and the food were both terrible. I will never consider ordering from or dining at this restaurant again!

Absolutely fantastic when I visited for my first time. I had Palak Paneer and a side of Garlic Naan. It was delicious. Rich, deep flavors. I will be back!

I went to their weekend lunch buffet this weekend for the first time in a number of years. Before COVID I think the buffet was around like $13 or $14 per person, but now it?s like $21. The food was good, but I don?t think it was worth $21, especiallybecause the service was sub-par. I waited like 15 minutes to get a water refill, which when you?re dealing with spicy Indianfood should be a sin. I?d say the buffet is worth it for a special occasion, but not for an average weekend; otherwise you?rebetter off just ordering take out.
