Khagan Mongolian Bbq Buffet - Auckland

The food choices were decent, but I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken sauce. I arrived near closing time but the staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing me to take my time and enjoy my meal without rushing. Everything was kept fresh and I had a great experience.

This restaurant, previously a Korean BBQ spot, has reopened with a new concept. There are plenty of options to choose from and it's a great value for those with big appetites, as you can have unlimited rounds of food. Just be aware that they may charge you extra for any uneaten food left on your plate. They also offer pancakes, ice cream, and syrup for dessert. Be sure to arrive before 6pm for dinner service. You'll have a unique dining experience as you cook your food right in front of you, just like other diners.

The food options were limited, especially for New Year's Eve. The front staff were always friendly and efficient. However, the wait for the BBQ cooking was quite long. It's best to load up your bowl with your desired ingredients before handing it off for cooking. The cook seemed unenthusiastic, but the pancakes were exceptional.

Party of 10, we came near the opening hours that worked well, it was occupied an hour later. The food is fresh, but I found the meat a little fat. I tried the chicken and mushroom soup, tasted water. The pancakes were nice. Overall, it was a pleasant night outside the venue is a nice place, but parking could become harder if you later get there. Would we go back? Maybe, but not in a hurry.

Eat as much as you like! Fun and delicious experience throwing your own raw ingredients together and watch the chef prepare your food in front of you! Only negative is, they only have pancakes and ice cream for dessert, no other options (if you have a big sweet tooth and like variety) the pancakes are delicious though.
