Mae Glong Thai - Auckland

This restaurant serves the best Thai food in the area! The service is excellent and the staff is friendly. They also have a license to serve alcohol. It's a smaller restaurant, so it may not be ideal for larger groups. I highly recommend trying the Ruby Curry and Pad Thai. Delicious!

I ordered pad kee mao for takeout and it was made very quickly. It was honestly the best I have ever had, and I am a huge fan of Thai food!

Local neighbourhood Thai restaurant with simple but lovely ambience. Staff are friendly and the food is tasty and delicious. All bar one menu item can be made gluten free.

I had a great experience at Mae Glong last night! My friend and I were in the area to watch a movie at Lido Cinema. We both ordered pad Thai and it had chicken and shrimp plus tofu, egg, vegetables. The portions were generous and food came out quickly. Service was very good. My friend is gluten free, soy free and dairy free, the waiter listened and passed this on to the chef. He would refill our water himself. Don’t be afraid to ask for specific requirements because they will do them. The description says casual dining but actually inside the ambience is very nicely done laid out. To top it off, they have an A grade rating.
