The Attic Bar Restaurant - Auckland

This is a fantastic spot for dinner! They accommodated our gluten-free requirements exceptionally well and demonstrated a solid understanding of cross-contamination. The food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was wonderful. We also appreciated the live musician; it was a lovely touch that we enjoyed.

I was in charge of planning our Valentine's date, and I chose this restaurant based on the favorable reviews I had read. I was pleasantly surprised by how delicious the food was and the generous portion sizes! We started with the drunken mussels, which were incredible and came in a much larger portion than I anticipated, and the fried squid, which was also fantastic. We even ended up eating the remaining aioli on its own because we couldn't bear to waste any of it. For our main courses, we had the ribs and the stuffed chicken pasta, both of which were delightful! The portions were so substantial that we barely made it halfway through our meals. Such beautifully large servings! I'm definitely looking forward to enjoying the leftovers! I also tried the lychee soda, which was delicious. I’d give it a 10/10 recommendation!

I had a fantastic dinner with my partner. As someone who is gluten-free, I was thrilled to have options for nearly everything on the menu. The food was delicious, and the staff were wonderful. I can't wait to return!

Date night so decided to hit this restaurant up as it's close to home. First impression was nice cozy. They sat us in a quiet intimate area just around the side they were full with a birthday party at the front and a few larger groups scattered around. The service was friendly and we ordered a couple of starters fish cake, and honey glazed halloumi they both were ok not out of this world fantastic. We ordered for our mains the TBone with red wine butter sauteed seasonal greens plus the Gourmet steak and smoked cheddar pie. Both the dishes were amazing, tasty and the quantity was huge. We also ordered the caesar salad with grilled fish very complimentary to the meat dishes. Finished off the night with the cheese cake plus apple pie dessert very good finisher to a big meal. Would definitely visit again.
