The Shakespeare I Bar I Restaurant I I Brewery

I was gifted a brewery tour and I would highly recommend it. Shakespeare Gasthof is the oldest microbrewery of NZ and preserves invaluable brew and architecture history. We had a wonderful guide who was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also very personal and welcoming. A great experience!

When we came by, I was eating. Family of 4. The food came fast, although they were busy, ribs were nice and soft, the fish and chips cooked well and the burgers and chips were more than a mouth full.

125 years old pub with large staff and traditional Kiwi food. Up for a quiet chat, down for a little more atmosphere.

The 125-year-old Shakespeare Hotel Brewery is worth a try. Absolutely large selection of local craft beers in New Zealand's oldest microbrewery. Rustic interior combined with local atmosphere makes time worthwhile. My favorite choice of beer is the IPA, but they offer a variety of great beers for almost any taste... have an attempt to cheer yourself!

Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Staff are great with a good service. Good food and selection at very reasonable price.
