Pierre, our waiter...excellent, knowledgeable in all aspects of the menu, and wine pairings. From the moment we entered, every aspect of dining experience was 'perfect '. Very rare ! I highly recommend this establishment, if you are a foodie, enjoy wine, do not like to be rushed, this is the place. I travel the world, the Grove is the finest restaurant I have ever had the pleasure to visit.

What an amazing dinner..from the friendly greeting at the door, to the fabulous, unobtrusive service, to the delicious and adventurous food...one of the best dining experiences ever. We will definitely return when we come back to Auckland...I can’t recommend this restaurant highly enough. For you arethinking of dining here...do it! You won’t be disappointed..

Stunning meal, even better service. It doesn't get much better than a bombe Alaska topped with meringue LIVE at your table then torched and set alight with absinthe and accompanied by the most exquisitely executed kumquat souffle...and that was but ONE of seven amazing courses PLUS three amuse bouche, bread with house made butter, palate cleanser à la John Kirwan and a beautiful birthday plate for my niece who was celebrating her 14th birthday. The Wagyu...the veal courgette flower....the tomato consomme on the scampi terrine...seriously there's nothing else to say ...stunning!
