It's a 100 for both of us.<br/ <br/ And Pop eyes has been a fantastic choice. The pricing is reasonable and we get great value for money.<br/ <br/ I have tried the chicken burger in mild. The chicken tenders in mild and the chicken pieces in mild and spicy. Everything was excellent.<br/ <br/ The chicken is perfectly cooked. Juicy and best of all, not oily like some chicken places. And its consistently good. I haven't had a bad meal here(touch wood .<br/ <br/ It is unfair to compare them to a traditional restaurant as they are a fast food joint. They are good at the fast food part.<br/ <br/ I am going to have something from there every time I go to Sandton(and it's alot Haha.<br/ <br/ Ps the service is great. Just be nice to the person behind the till :
No complaints here really went to the branch at the food court in Sandton City. Lived up to the hype. A nice alternative the takeaways we use to. I must recommend the ranch sauce totally delicious and just a change from the common choice across most takeaways. The food was good and fresh and the staff friendly.
Current rating of 2.5 is unfair. Nice alternative to kfc and chicken licken more or less on the same standard in terms of quality and value for money. The biscuit is surprisingly amazing on its own with a cold coke.
My boyfriend is a huge fried chicken fan so I got a bunch of takeaways for him. He said it was his new favourite which is huge news since he 's obsessed with another fried chicken joint. His advice though, is go for the chicken and not the 'sandwiches '. Their chips are super tasty The staff were also very friendly.
There was a long line, so the long wait was inevitable. After ordering, one of the crew noticed me waiting and hurried my order up, so that was nice. The chicken was juicy and flavorful, but i'm only giving a 3.5 rating because they forgot my biscuit.
