Habanero's Mexican Grill - Augusta

I hope we just caught them on a bad night but the food was so terrible that I'm not even willing to give it a second chance. Steak and chicken were chewy, beef was a step down from whatever Taco Bell beef is, and overall flavors just weren't good. None of us could finish even half our food despite giving it a real try and sampling one another's plates looking for something redeeming in there. We decided to just pay and never make the mistake of going there again. Vallarta is right down the road with comparable prices but the food is actually delicious there and the drinks are better there too.

Great service and great food. Everything is hot and the portions are huge... including margaritas. If you are looking for a local causal place, that is! You have an outdoor terrace that is great when the weather is beautiful! Will be back soon!

Delicious! I absolutely love the design of this building and the surrounding landscape—it’s been part of my life since I was young! I was thrilled to return for some food years later, especially since my apartment is just down the street. My partner and I ordered the cheesesteak burrito (without onions), and it was fantastic—filled with tender, flavorful steak. We also tried the combo with a taco, enchilada, rice, and beans. Everything was quite salty, but it was exactly what I craved! We indulged in a generous order of queso, saving some for later. The salsa tasted fresh, and the chips were the perfect accompaniment. We’re looking forward to dining in and exploring the bar on our next visit!

Great restaurant with delicious food! I ordered the nachos, while my wife had the dish shown in the picture. It looked delightful, smelled amazing, and tasted even better. The portions are generous, so come hungry or be prepared to have leftovers for lunch tomorrow!

I'll be back... For J is the best Chimichanga in Augusta... I love the tacos. Next time we want to try a delicious one.
