I absolutely love visiting this restaurant on Saturday mornings. I often bring my children and my dog with me. I wish I could buy everything I see here. There is such a wide variety of food options, it's impossible to try everything. I keep attempting to sample as much as I can. They offer fresh fruits and vegetables, fresh flowers, fried fish, shrimp, grits, lumpia, and pancit. They even have a food truck for dogs. In addition to the delicious food options, there are vendors selling jewelry, body care products, crystals, and candles. There is something for everyone at this market. Some vendors only accept cash, so it's a good idea to have some on hand. There is a paid parking lot nearby, but there is also plenty of free parking available. You may have to walk a bit, but it's a nice stroll to the market on a Saturday morning. Don't forget to dress comfortably and bring sun protection to stay cool.
This restaurant is adorable and bustling in a positive way! There is a wide variety of food and treats to choose from. The atmosphere is lively and I look forward to more vendors expanding along the river. The flower vendors had gorgeous blooms and the food was delicious! I will definitely be returning next weekend and every weekend after that!
I absolutely enjoy visiting the Augusta market on Saturdays. Whether you go alone or with friends and family, it's always a blast. The market is very family-friendly and even offers a petting zoo on certain days. The food options are incredibly diverse, with everything from Korean and barbecue to shrimp and grits, hot dogs, street tacos, and Filipino cuisine available. I usually grab a bite to eat, do some shopping, and bring home some extra food for later. I love supporting local farmers and getting fresh, high-quality produce like berries, fruits, and vegetables. And for those with a sweet tooth, there is no shortage of desserts, including cakes, pies, and cheesecakes. Additionally, you can find various crafts, goodies like sauces and kettle corn, and more at the stands throughout the market.
Wow! So happy the Augusta Market has grown so much and diversified! When I started coming a few years ago, it was produce, a few crafters, and mostly Southern cuisine type foods you could get for lunch. Now it's bustling with a variety of food from all over the world with local families using their home recipes to serve the community: Colombian, Indian, Puerto Rican, Korean, Phillipino, Southern cuisine, Vietnamese, and more. I love going each week to try something new! It's great seeing so many people supporting local businesses and trying foods they never would have before. Fruits and vegetables are fresh and grown locally, prices are comparable to super markets. Everyone is so humble here! Love it and highly recommend when in Augusta!
