The food was great. But the unsweetened tea was sour

Absolutely loved wife saver it reminds me of my mom's down home cooking. Everything was hot and fresh. You have to get the sweet ice tea and naner pudding. Once you go you will become a every day regular.

The food is good and that’s why I keep going back but, the attitudes from the people taking your order it always seems like you’re bothering them

I stumbled on this gem during my recent visit to the area. They staff was very friendly and the food was awesome. I got the pork chops, greens and mac n cheese and all were delicious and the portions were just the right size. I will visit again on my next trip to the area.

So I called a friend and asked him what the best fried chicken in Augusta was and he said lifesaver. So I stopped in and had a two-piece White. The fries were French fries in the baked beans were good. Unfortunately the chicken skin was dry and a little cold like it had been sitting there for a while. Taste wasnt bad bit cold chicken. Ill give it another try
