I've never been so disappointed. 10 round cakes cost my $82, asking for flowers. No flowers, just happy birthday with lines on it. It has no frost. The woman was so rude!! So happy I was was wasting $82.00.

I ordered a cake from Cakes von Karen for a 40. Birthday party, and she wasn't disappointed. She did a great job. More than what I expected. The black pipe was immaculate, and the black and golden writing was on point. The black base perfectly mixed with the glittering gold lettering. The gold drop was evenly distributed on the edge of the cake. Did I mention it astonishing as well as tests. I have the strawberry flavor cake. I definitely recommend Cakes of Karen.

Omg. I just have a loss of words! My mom just picked up my birthday cake that looks like a 2 years old. My mother's tears and laughing at how Hidius is this cake. I called her about the terrible cake and her answer was my mother gave them enough time, unfortunately they didn't have enough time. In shock, they even let this out of their store! My mother will rely on her first experience. But thanks for the terrible birthday cake. It's terrible! Absolutely terrible. With my half business credit we have back and never back! Go to Walmart or to the grocery store. Save yourself!

Usually, I order cakes from King Soopers, which are very reasonable and usually done very well, but for the extra special occasion of my sister's retirement, decided to order from Cakes by Karen thinking I would get a very professionally, beautifully decorated, delicious cake. I discussed all the details with Val, and even sent a picture of the decorating I decided on. Much to my dismay, the decorating on the cake was not at all what was discussed or in the picture I sent! Unbelievable! How can you not decorate a cake according to a picture that is provided?? The picture I submitted was a cake with lavender, pink and yellow flowers. What I received was a cake that was decorated in all purple no pink or yellow flowers! How difficult can it be? For the exorbitant price charged for these cakes, this is unacceptable! Val did offer a $30 credit toward another cake. Considering the price of the cake was $106 for a half sheet cake, a $30 credit seems in adequate for their incompetence and my dissatisfaction. I am just baffled how, with a picture right in front of you, you screw it up! Despicable!! Also, the cake itself is no more exceptional than a cake from King Soopers. In fact, I think cakes from King Soopers or Safeway are more moist. Unhappy customer! Get it together Cakes by Karen!!

My son’s birthday cake was awesome!! All the kids loved the decor adults loved the flavor. It was exactly what I wanted, fast service easy to order.
