I wouldn't recommend this place at all; it was really disappointing. I don't even know who the owner is, but they need to improve the food and the overall experience. I should have gone to the new seafood restaurant, El Captain, down the street instead! To be honest, they sneakily added the service charge, which made my bill of $80 come to nearly $100 for subpar seafood! They should at least inform customers about this instead of hiding it. Be careful—this place sneaks in service fees, and I had to reduce the tip for the waitress because that $12 could have gone to her instead. I hope this place struggles against the new seafood restaurant nearby. I stand by what I said!
My family and I were eager to explore a new seafood restaurant, and we stumbled upon this gem! The service was extremely friendly and accommodating, which was especially appreciated since it was our first visit. When our food arrived, we were pleasantly surprised by the generous portion sizes at such a reasonable price! Everyone in the family agreed that everything was delicious, and we will definitely be returning to sample more dishes from the menu.
It is very disappointing that they are charging service fees without letting the customer know before deciding to sit down and eat. I understand that it is a curiosity to tip the waitress but to be sneaky about it is bad. At the time of paying, I noticed the charge of 15% charge. When asked on the charge, I received a response that it has a charge of 15% on parties of three and over. I questioned on the charge for one adult and two children is considered three. The response of associate Carmen was that it is a valid charge because the dish ordered was an adult plate. So now, the service fee is based on ordered plate? When I requested the manager in charge, associate Carmen called her manager Vanessa. The manager (Vanessa) told her to tell me that it is the customer's responsibility to read the fine print. Wow what a horrible customer service. So now having customers come in with the intention of supporting your small business treated like the business is doing the customer a favor is just crazy. Since when does a business under value the customer and now thinks its the customer's responsibility to maintain a business going? Please save yourself a 15% fee on an unethical business that doesn't value their customers. I will definitely not be returning this location again and wouldn't recommend it to anyone else. Consume your hard earned money with a business that will value your business and appreciates your presence at their location.
Excellent food, huge portions/money's worth, great service. Dining area is a bit small but still very worth it. Big plus it's BYOB.Food: 5/5
