Old Chicago Pizza Taproom - Aurora

Terrible service...there was NO service. Waitress asked if we had been helped because we had no drinks. I told her no, we hadn't and she walked away. This was after about a 30 minute wait. We waited another 10 minutes and walked out. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY. We will never go back to that poor excuse for a restaurant.

Got there at 7 pm on a Wednesday. Place was slightly busy because it was draft night and a nuggets playoff game. We get our wings and drinks pretty quickly. Finish them and sit for a while before we realize how long it has taken. Waitress comes out at 8 to tell us the kitchen lost the ticket and they should have the food out in 5 minutes. Management offers us a free dessert. We didn't accept it. Food was fine. Wait wasn't.

One of the worst pizzas I’ve ever received. Arrived with a missing toping and pizza was all tossed around looking. Boneless chicken wings also came with in the wrong flavor. I can account for cold food that has sat and been delivered, but these were embarrassing mistakes. Kind of remarkable how poorly serviced the food was. Maybe the food is treated better in the restaurant, but to-gos are an after thought.

Showed up around 5:30pm today and the restaurant wasn’t very busy. We didn’t receive drinks for 20 mins. Took 30 mins to receive appetizer. Received our food at the one hour mark. This old Chicago has really went downhill. We won’t be coming back here.

Came in to enjoy pizza and a couple beers. No host, stood at the entryway for over 10min with the bartender making eye contact with us several times but never saying anything to us. We eventually left. Went to Old Chicago on Iliff again no host but the bartender was very quick to acknowledge us and let us know where we could sit. Our waitress was amazing and very attentive and nice. I get your short staffed, everyone is. But at least acknowledge the customer.
