Solitude Farm Cafe - Auroville

A big shout out to this amazing cafe. My best time on the last of my trip was spent in this beautiful secluded cafe. Met the owner Krishna and had an interesting conversation about his journey of making organic food available for all, his music life in general. The food is super simple vegan and soul satisfying. I tried the Radha Consciousness juice mix one (Hibiscus). Very refreshing! The dosas with coconut chutney was superb. Also don't miss the jaggery seasame laddoo. The prices of the food was also not expensive at all! Must visit cafe for the vibe as well.

Solitude farm, most people would have heard on YouTube or Facebook about this place. The speciality of this hotel is the farm to plate method of cooking methods. The menu will be decided based on the vegetables or fruits available in their farm. Due to its popularity most people often visit this place. The taste of food is very good. But the major drawback is the cost, you'll regret it for coming here after you get your bill. Eg: 100gms of banana chips is 100/ . Better to just visit than to eat here. This review is completely based on my experience.

Place has a different vibe, food served is vegan and healthy. Smoothie was good… Talking to Krishna was fun and he’s has very good knowledge about the farm and free farm tour was given.

Keep an open mind and surrender to the ever changing menu. Hidden senses could open up! Had some banana chips as part of the meal. Ordered just the chips 2 more times. Still, my hunger for that particular taste is haunting me.

I had a wonderful experience visiting this place. Organic vegetarian Indian food is served here which tastes great. Slightly expensive for the quantity but I was satisfied after desert. There was live music by very talented artists which was big part of the overall experience of this place. The earthly natural vibe was very soothing. It made my afternoon.
