Finding an Italian food place to eat in Austin, Texas while we were in town for a baby shower was adventures.
I've been to 68 degrees twice now: once with another couple for a scheduled evening out with reservations, once for a spur of the moment weeknight bite.
The restaurant was conveniently located for us and the menu looked good. When we arrived they had no means of checking a reservation and didn't have a table ready for us. It took about 15 minutes for anyone to greet our table at all, so we were able to already decide on our dinner by the first time a server talked to us. It then took another 25-30 minutes for our dinner to arrive. We had a Caesar salad, sliders, and lobster mac and cheese and I wouldn't order any of it again. The beer was good and it seemed like a fun place. There was live music that was really good, but the whole place was so loud it was impossible to have a conversation.
Even though you can make a reservation on THEIR website, they do not want to honor it. The waitress was baffled at a reservation. It gets busy and super loud to the point that even though you are yelling in someone's ear....they can't hear you.
