Cartel Coffee Lab - Austin

I really liked the atmosphere of this place. However, if you're not from the area and driving in, getting there can be quite challenging. Parking can be a nightmare, but once I finally sat down with my coffee, it made it all worth it.

Excellent coffee, tea, and pastries. Reasonable prices for the neighborhood.

I visited this café in Austin for a café au lait based on a local friend's recommendation. The baristas were friendly and attentive, suggesting a delicious pour-over when I wasn't satisfied with the drip coffee. The menu seemed a bit limited, and the place was quite empty, but it was still early in the day during SXSW week, so perhaps the coffee crowd was just still waking up.

I'm always on the hunt for a good chai tea latte because so many places do them TERRIBLY. Cartel has my FAVORITE chai latte in Austin. The agave latte is also worth a shot

Amazing cold brew! I’m not a huge coffee drinker but cartel is one of the only spots I’ll go to when I’m craving caffeine. Definitely check it out if you’re in the east side.
