Chef Choo - Austin

High quality, original from the heart and good value. I will be regular. I see much creativity from this cook. I'd like to pick him up for sushi ideas. I feel like he has much more to say and do. please use me as a soundboard!

Omakase from the one and the only @chef_choo {and mine was his first command. woohoo} borrow the container and packages! it was so beautiful and the fish was so fresh and delicious! the omakase comes with fresh washabi, house made special soy sauce, umami ponzu sauce, tsukemono pickles (his knives skills are crazy); and roasted soultang so that they can make their individual handrolls! I also love the homemade soy sauce as it is not too salty and the umami ponzu sauce has a smokey taste and only one hauch of bonito has what I love. oh, and I can not forget the homemade kyurizuke Japanese pickled cucumber is so perfect for a palate cleaner if they like to splurge for special occasions and support before it very much, I recommend! I also tried chef choo’s mystery box ni and special hamachi! there is no secret in the taste department, his taking flavor combinations had me enjoy more than anything; and I am usually a sashimi girl 100!% it is just to show that a little risk can be great when working with a profi like chef choo, I also tried his valentine meal for 2! everything was perfect the highlight of the meal for me was the funny bite; uni cream cheese with milk toast and caviar distributed I could eat a large plate of it! chirashi futomaki with uni and ikura (salmon roe) and all sorts sushi were my 2nd favorite! all in all I was a happy girl with a full tumour! Chef choo is super friendly and he will work with them what they want, their sushi/sashimi for their special occasion! so. what are you waiting for? our usual pick-up place is manon’s shared kitchen, which is on research blvd (near coco’s caffe and din ho chinese bbq) and there are parking spaces in front of the kitchen that is comfortable.

The sandwiches are amazing! I’m looking forward to trying the sushi!

This review is for Choo Sando. We ordered the Sando San sampler box, and every sandwich was delicious. The presentation was excellent too. I highly recommend it!

My man and I have been fans of chef choo and by haru and his other names since the Afin days, so we were very excited to try his taking omakase yesterday. it was amazing! what a wonderful expression of his craft. everything was nicely packed, pickup was super fast and easy, and the quality, taste and presentation of our order was simply incredible. this is a very special meal that I would recommend to everyone! chef choo! I can't wait to order again, and try the Sando service!
