Corner - Austin

My friend and I were looking to get out in the nice warm evening weather but didn’t want to go somewhere that was COVID central (ie indoors w/lots of ppl crowded inside) and we came across this spot. Plenty of outdoor space to sit and have a brisket sandwich along with a strong cocktail. They were also playing great music—for a couple of hours, life felt normal. It was a great experience and a small escape. Had their seasonal Cranberry Thanksgiving Margarita and it was I would def go there again.

Great little locals bar. I wish there were many more like this. Two amazing food trucks in the parking lot. I don't know which is better.

Low-key one of the best neighborhood bars around. Atmosphere feels more local and relaxed than a lot of other bars on South Lamar. Food trucks here are worth checking out as well, especially Brown's BBQ. Great place to watch the game, although it does get crowded on Sundays during football season.
