Fat Cats has definitely done it right! The staff was also super friendly and helpful! I will 100% be back!
Lots of baked goods that are pretty tasty and all dairy-free plant based. Gluten free options too. However I asked if something had nuts and they didn?t know, so not so great for people with other allergies!
100% Plant Based!! Fat Cats is a gem as they have a multitude of delicious vegan baked goods!! I tried the espresso chocolate chip scone as well as their drip coffee delish! Vegans and plant lovers gather around! I?ll definitely be coming back here next time I?m in the area.
The baked goods are phenomenal here! my omnivore husband enjoyed as well. i’ve had the ham n cheese croissant, bbq jalapeño kolache, rosemary bagel, strawberry cream croissant, and the raspberry lemon muffin. will definitely return and return again to get a quick bite to eat. i took off a star because, while i love cats, i wish the cafe had a cozier vibe. they have these two velvet mustard colored sofa chairs in the back which is nice but otherwise all of the tables/chairs/lights are black and it doesn’t feel like an atmosphere i want to sit down and have a chat over a coffee/tea/treat in. it feels cold and everything is a little random. the bathroom is clean and there are games you can play. i wish it was more light and airy and cozy. the service is very shy, i was never greeted each time i’ve been in. appreciate the reusable dining ware for dining in. one day they were all out of savory baked goods in the morning, they didn’t say why but i also didn’t ask.
Food was good, coffee was really good, and the prices were reasonable, but I just don’t understand how they stay afloat with these hours. Want a cup of coffee before work? Nope. This place doesn’t open until 9AM. Want a coffee after work? No chance, this place closes at 3PM. It’s not open on Mondays or Tuesdays either. Is this some kind of non-profit coffee shop? Is this place running off of money from some kind of federal grant?
