Fixe Southern House - Austin

This upscale southern kitchen excels at accommodating large groups. We had a party of 11 and received fast and accurate service. The restaurant was bustling with other large groups, but the staff was friendly and the open kitchen created high energy vibes. I highly recommend the heritage pork chop - it was delicate and tasty, a surprising find for someone who typically doesn't order pork chops. The cookies definitely lived up to the hype - be sure to order them for the whole table. A must-try spot in Austin!

My wife and I came to Fix for my birthday dinner and it was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious (although some dishes were better than others). We started with a few honey badgers (bourbon or whiskey with honeycomb and lemon), which were delicious. We then ordered several appetizers, like salt and pepper, devil's eggs, Brussels sprouts, apple coleslaw, and incredible cookies served with butter, strawberries, and honey. For our main courses, we had the blackened cod with collard greens and a 22 oz sirloin with uncracked bones. I wanted the pecan cake for dessert, but they were out for the evening.

Everything we ordered at this restaurant was amazing. The cookies are a must-try, and the deviled eggs were just as good as grandma used to make. For our main courses, we tried the pork, lobster pancakes, and crispy Brussels sprouts, and they were all phenomenal. After such a great meal, we couldn't resist getting dessert, and the blackberry bowl was delicious.

Fixe was incredibly delicious. super attentive and friendly service team. every bite was horrific! my top brands go to the cookies and the blackskin. I would be returning to austin, tx. thanks to the entire team for a wonderful evening.

Delicious food. The Fixe biscuits were a must. We also tried the cinnamon biscuit roll which was fabulous. The brioche french toast was very good but very rich. You definitely can split this one with a friend. And the fried pollo loco biscuit was extremely tasty. Good selection of teas and coffee as well as adult beverages.
