Wonderful community spot, good quality food for all types of eaters, reasonable prices

Second time here and still hoping that I will love it but ... nope. There's a good selection of food with menus for gluten free, breakfast and all day. This time I had the veggie burger and my companion had one of the breakfast wraps. The veggie party was horrible dry and tasteless. The wrap was OK but felt like something you could get at the supermarket for half the price. Everything was definitely overpriced for the (lack of) quality. The worst part of the meal was probably the coffee. It was so bad we just switched to water. Service both times was lacking. The first time I was there some months ago, the order taker didn't know basic questions about the food and just stared at me with a frozen smile. This time around, the person didn't hand us order numbers, mugs or silverware, so we had to keep walking to and fro from the counter.

Yes the food is good, the counter service and food runners are delightful and it's got a cool vibe ... But for a cafe with counter service and not table service, it's way over priced for the extremely small portions. For that reason overall I'd give it 3 stars and wouldn't recommend or go back.

Galaxy Cafe always has very healthy and affordable options for eating. They are very friendly to specific issues if you have them (dairy, gluten, etc). The NW Hills area doesn't have a ton of options and this Galaxy Cafe is a wonderful addition. They also have espresso, which is nice!

Aittle pricey...but food was delicious, options were varied (including gluten-free) and service was friendly.
