Juliet Italian Kitchen Barton Springs

Not so great for a group of diners. there were 6 of us and we were pressed into a tiny table in the corner. it took 15 minutes to get out drinks, the service was missing from lustre, incorrect order for shared plates in. the taste of the mush was inconsistent. Charcuterie-Board was too expensive- 2 types of cheese, 2 meats, a handful of olives, 2 pieces of pickles, tons of drivages and tons of grapes. if they load $35 a board, they should get a bigger choice. I've got the idea that tastes hot and dry. the green beans were definitiw the star. kartoffeln were in order, but would have needed a little more butter or milk. in portions was large. the taste of the mushroom manicotti was drowned by the fresh pesto. Everything was good. bring back the grilled otopus, and begin with bottle wine and champagne to tables instead of only glasses.

Great food, atmosphere, and for a reasonable price. The noodles were so fresh and tasty. I will definitely be returning the next time I come to Austin.

This was our 2nd time and the first was fantastic but last night the service was terrible and the food lacked flavor. We were sat in the back room and neglected most of the night. It’s unfortunate but we will not be going back.

This restaurant has gone downhill since COVID. Service was bad inattentive and slow. Took 10 minutes for someone to greet us once we sat down and I had to tackle the waiter to get a water refill and eventually the check. Food was average barely. The restroom was dirty and out of hand towels. A very disappointing experience and a local favorite.

Our waiter made us feel u comfortable the whole night. He brought us extra sets of silverware after he commented how we had silverware but no water, it was standing extremely far back when taking our order (closer to other tables than to us) he was dropping other people’s silverware and plates, took him 30+ minutes to finally bring us water, and then tried joking around with us which made us uncomfortable. All of that on top of him calling out that he was slacking and “moving slow”. All in all it was an poor experience and we won’t go back.
