Feedback gevenNone of the recent one-star reviews accurately represent our experiences here, so I felt it was important to share my thoughts. The staff, including manager Paul, have always been incredibly friendly and accommodating. We have never come across any of the negative attitudes that I've read about lately.
I called to inquire about allergens for a corporate group order because the online allergen guide was outdated. Unfortunately, the employee who answered my call was rude, unhelpful, and argumentative. Initially, she told me I could consume the item I was asking about without checking. When I asked her to verify the ingredients in the bread, she backtracked and informed me that it contained egg, so I couldn't have it. She offered no alternatives, despite the fact that there are plenty of menu items that don't contain egg—suggesting something simple like a bowl of fruit would have sufficed. Additionally, she refused to connect me with someone who could assist further. Instead, she instructed me to tell the person placing my group order not to use Grubhub, which was irrelevant to my inquiry. I explained that I didn't even know who was placing the order as it was for corporate catering. I typically don’t write reviews, but I've never felt so disrespected. This interaction really put a damper on the experience, and I hope they can encourage their employees to treat customers with kindness rather than hostility.
I ordered through order eats and we did not receive the soups that we ordered despite them being clearly written on the receipts stapled to the bag. Really upsetting considering we paid extra to add the soups to our entrees. Would not recommend orderingfrom this location.
I visited this restaurant with my family for the first time. They have a cozy little fireplace, which added a nice touch. The chicken salad croissant was tasty, but it was on the smaller side. Unfortunately, the Nutella crepe was quite disappointing. I tried it after both my husband and our 4-year-old had finished their meals, and my son only took one bite before saying "no thank you" for more because he didn't like it, even though he usually loves Nutella. On a positive note, the cashier was very friendly and even took the time to chat with my son when there were no other customers.
This is the worst place to eat , buyer beware ! It starts with the terrible attitude at the order counter and continues to the failed attempt to deliver eggs and bacon. The bacon was cold and had so much grease you could lube your car. The croissant wascold, potatoes room temp, greasy and just not edible. Eggs were way to runny and under cooked . This place was the bomb manyyears ago however it must have newer owners as it?s run down and tastes like it. You can do much better elsewhere.
