Best Eggs Benedict I've ever had. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was excellent.

Good selection of food. From tacos, to all day breakfast. Good coffee and desserts too. The Flamingo sandwich and Huevos Rancheros were both super.

Always a good choice. Food is very good, service is even better. The server was always close, but not hovering. Cafe had a nice cross section of guests. I highly recommend this old favorite !!!

The Magnolia Cafe on South Congress is one of the best and most legendary spots for breakfast or brunch in Austin. It's a classic, especially if you're looking for something hearty to recover from Austin's famous nightlife. Let's be clear, this is not a gourmet brunch spot - they have a classic American diner menu with a creative Texan twist and it's busy 24 hours a day (there will likely be a wait if you go on a weekend morning, or late at night). Although they have burgers, salads, and sandwiches on the menu, the best thing to order is breakfast (no matter what time you go). The pancakes are huge and a meal in themselves, but where The Magnolia Cafe really shines is in their omelets. I personally recommend the Prima Donna omelet, filled with avocado, cheddar cheese, sour cream, and green salsa. Amazing. The prices are more than reasonable, with a breakfast and unlimited coffee around $10.00. The service is a bit slow, but who cares? It's a diner! It's an institution in Austin and one that I wholeheartedly recommend at any time of day.
