Malone Coffee - Austin

I couldn't believe the service at this restaurant. The woman seemed to fluctuate between indifference and a fake apology, while the man appeared completely confused. How is it possible to run out of lettuce when you have two dishes that need tomatoes and one that requires lettuce? Also, how can a cold brew be served lukewarm?

I had an amazing ABLT and the Oatmeal Triple Nut was delightful. The medium roast coffee was delicious as well! Overall, I would give the food a perfect 5 out of 5.

I was in town for a conference and decided to skip the Starbucks at my hotel to find a local coffee shop instead. I arrived at 1:48 PM and had to call out to the man working at the coffee truck. He sighed and asked what I would like. After placing my order, he sighed again and mentioned he was just trying to go home as it was the end of his day. I eventually told him to forget my order. Honestly, I should have just gone to Starbucks. I won't make that mistake again tomorrow.

My burrito and salsa were just OK. But the coffees looks delicious. This is not a special food truck. It's a regular food truck with regular food and a very convenient location. It does have an espresso machine so at least it has that.

At 7:50am you'd expect them to have food, and normally I wouldn't be so critical but from the history of reviews it seems to be a trend. I wouldn't care if it was cold food, microwaved food, but a food truck in Austin not having food, just an abject failure.Food: 1/5
