Mattie's - Austin

This place was so charming!! Waiting time: We went to Sunday brunch, arrived at 11:00 and had to wait 30 minutes before our group of 6 sat outside. Honestly, not too bad if we don't have a reservation? Atmosphere: The atmosphere makes you feel like you? in a movie. We saw over 10 peacocks (including a white one) as well as their babies, so valuable. Starter: The doughnuts were delicious (it came with 5 doughnut holes), and they had a tasty cream that had appeared on them. Cocktails: I have a back tea cocktail with vodka that was delicious, refreshing and not too strong. Food: I ate the cookies and chorizo gravy and oh my gosh I wish I lived in Austin because I would come back for those every weekend. All right!

Everything was great. Friendly and fast service. Beautiful exterior and interior seats. We ordered the fried green tomatoes that come with a crab and maissalate. It was so good! Some of the best cookies I had with raspberry butter. The Brisket Hasch was also good.

We had the most amazing brunch at Mattie. Everything was absolutely delicious. The staff is incredibly friendly and the venue is beautiful. We sat outside and the heat was endlessly satan, the fans and sisters made it a pleasant experience. Of course, the peacocks were roared and added to the whole charm. If you are looking for a wonderful meal with a great atmosphere, do yourself a favor and book a table at Mattie's.

Wow. Very impressed. A beautiful and comfortable place. The property and the house are beautifully cured, like a precursor to your meal. Beverages: had the back porch tea with a Lil Bulleit. Drinking was perfect for this hot evening, cold, stiff, but not exaggerated. The mint and the lemonade ripped off the whisky. For the app we had the fried green tomatoes that came with a shrimp and crab dive. Let me tell you we could have ordered this all night. Superb. The tomatoes were cut thin and had these corneal batters so they were super crispy. Connecting them to shrimps and crabs was only the sky. Our main thing was fried chicken and pork ribs. Both were stubborn. Chicken was slightly broken, but still super crispy and juicy we loved. The ribs were well smoked, had a light coat of Bbq sauce and just so delicate. Super impressed! Our sites that came with the nets were also stellar: gouda and bacon mashers, red potato salad, cole slaw and sid salad. There were no favorites in this group as we had eaten other pages. Service: super and super attentive. I've found a new date night spot because it's intimate, but casual and the food is just fantastic.

Ate so much I almost popped! This food was phenomenal, the outdoor seating was gorgeous. A lot of shaded area. The peacocks walking around were adorable and fun. Service was excellent. Don?t miss their cocktail menu. Really great stuff!
