Ola Poke - Austin

My second time here and they do not disappoint. For today’s visit, I opted for ahi and tuna poke bowl (with brown rice base topped with pineapple, edamame, crab meat, spring salad mix, furikaki and crunchy deep fried onion) paired with spam+egg musubi and miso soup. Can you say kanak attack? Lol!! So ono! This combo is what me and my friends typically would get before heading to Waikiki beach back home in Hawaii. I agree with their poster on the wall. This place is better than PokePoke in South Austin. Thanks to Ola Poke, I’ve found another genuine piece of home away from home for me.

This FB page showed up on my News Feed as a suggested page a few days ago and I'm glad it did! I stopped in today with my father for the grand opening; I ordered bibimbap and he ordered a hibachi steak. Both were delicious! My dad, who is a huuuge fan of steaks, was especially content with his dish he couldn't stop talking to me about how it was a high quality ribeye cooked just the way he likes it. The chef actually came and spoke with us when we were done with our meal, which was nice. We're looking forward to bringing more people here and trying out their poke bowls and other items (quick word of advice when you walk in, be sure to pick up a small black menu so you can check out the whole bill of fare. Not everything is listed on the monitors they have behind the counter). The atmosphere and set up was very relaxed and most items are served in to go containers or can be easily packed, so it's a great place for a quick lunch/meal.

Love the build your own poke bowl. Definitely a place off the beaten path a little, but well worth the visit! I love how fresh the seafood is and the amount of options they have as well. New favorite spot!

Came here today with a dear friend who I hadn't seen in a while. She raved about the food and I was eager to try. I was NOT disappointed! It was amazing! The food was fresh and seasoned perfectly! The poke bowl was everything I could have asked for in a Hawaiian dish! I will certainly be back!

This place is definitely worth a try! We got two delicious poke bowls. All ingredients were fresh and the sauces are on point. Don't forget the dumplings! We'll be going back ASAP!
