Feedback gevenVery good lunch buffet for about $10. Far better than Clay Pit, what I guess, the Austin standard, since he's been so long. This is my new place! I had some things I had only in New India, and some dishes and deserts I never had. It's delicious. Especially enthusiastic about the Lamb Vindaloo.
We didn't have to wait for a table at 7pm Saturday. The service and the food was great. We had a couple of appetizers and ordered 4 different dishes to share amongst all 4 of us. For the price of the dish you get plenty of food. We'll definitely go back for more. I should have taken more pictures.
Paneer was exceptionally good and fresh, daal was mouthwatering and greavy was good too. Took one star out because of rice which was really undercooked. Everything else was amazing. Really recommend this place for people who loves Indian food. :
Not gonna lie my food was pretty bad; bland and not spicy at all. Curry had a weird flavor and some raisins in it, which is abnormal for a tikka masala. Would recommend other Indian restaurants over this one.
Papadom is a great place, especially for lunch with her lunch buffet. I usually do it once a month during my lunch break because it's close to my office. If you are looking for it to make it extra quick, you can order Ahead with DineWithDash so that your food is already paid and prepared by the kitchen when you arrive. The decor is on the spot for what you would expect in a fine Indian restaurant, and they pay attention to details with beautiful plates, bowls and flatware.
