Red Lobster - Austin

Maybe we should have dinner instead of lunch due to the appearance of all the other reviews. This review only got 2 stars, just because the food was good. But the service? We were standing on the podium waiting to sit longer than expected. Then when we got our server, don't say she had a stance, but she wasn't hospitable at all. When she brought out the food, she gave it directly to us, in contrast to putting it on the table. We didn't even want to eat our food anymore because the service was so inconvenient. My partner was ready to eat, but I was still and she basically rushed us out of the restaurant. There was no one in the restaurant and nobody waited to come, why haste? When it was time to go, I wear a tanktop and a skirt and she said: I love your outfit, very elegant?. Thanks, Boo. I also love my outfit and I hope you have the day you earn Ms. Malia:

One last week for a birthday dinner. about 45 minutes waiting you are unfortunately short Handed BUT the food was great and the service was even better. Had a waiter with a trainee and they beat it out of the ball park. I could say that they take care of many tables, but their energy and service did not show it. I hope they can get the staff they need to run the restaurant as they know, but in the meantime they do a great job with what they have.

The food was really good. Red Lobster is getting better. Now there is not much to choose. But the option they have, you can't go wrong. There are appetizer options are so good. If you love shrimp, come here. A cocktail? You won't be mad.

We ordered endless shrimps and it tastes especially the Argentine red shrimps. We waited for about 25 minutes. Not bad. But there are many empty seats within so not sure why it takes so long. Maybe the lack of personnel. I'm happy with the food and service. However, I gave 4 out of 5 for this review because the device on the desk. It offers games for you to play while waiting for the food. No bad idea. However, it is not transparent that you have to pay for it. I didn't know until the bill. No notification on the device to confirm the payment. It's just $1,99, but not happy with the way it costs.

It was a nice experience. Our waiter, Paul was very attentive. The food was really good. The atmospere was quiet. I would recommend you to take a new look at this oldie but goodie. Only downside is how expensive it was overall. But we enjoyed it.
